    "Excellent for Dairy Goats"

I purchased this feeder for Nubians and I have been very pleased with it. There is very little mess with this feeder, the tray catches most of the alfalfa crumbles. This was very important to me as I use pine shavings for bedding and I hate hay mess. You have to set this feeder fairly low for goats, or else they will put their feet in the tray putting stress on the feeder. It's too strong to break but after years of goats doing that it would definitely put wear on it bow it. Mine is about 8" from the floor. The assembly was simple but the plastic has some bend to it, you must stretch it tight to screw the hardware in. I did it by myself, but it would be best to get a helper to hold it. This feeder is also very easy to clean and after a couple months of everyday use it still looks brand new. There are no sharp edges for my goats or me to get cut/snagged on and it looks nice to boot. I'll be purchasing more for my barn.
