Halogen Infrared Heat Lamps & Bulbs
Halogen infrared heating will completely revolutionize the way you keep your animals warm. Tests in laboratory conditions have proven halogen infrared bulbs have longer lifetimes, they are able to withstand strong water projections, and they are very shock resistant.
Halogen infrared heating stimulates high blood circulation in the animal, warming them quickly. It also covers a larger area than traditional heating systems, and the optimal temperature is achieved faster. The luminous intensity and heating abilities remain consistent over the life of the bulb.
Lamp and bulbs sold separately.
Ideal for piglets, lambs, rabbits and poultry.
UL/CSA approved. Conforms to CE norms.

"Bulbs don't last"
I was hoping it was just a fluke, but it wasn't. As long as the light was on, it worked great, as soon as I turned it off and turn it on later, the bulb was shot, 3 bulbs in a week.
"bulbs not lasting"
I hoped the bulbs would last longer than they do. I use them to warm goat kids and they do get bumped around . the bulbs just don't hold up well to the abuse.
I have used this heat lamp for puppies for the past 10 years and still have the very first one that I purchased. I love it! Keeps the pups warm and I love the fact that you have two levels of heat. It is the best lamp I have ever used.
"Update on halogen heat lamp"
"Update on halogen heat lamp. I measured the heat at 21"" from lamp. The normal red 250 watt incandescent heat lamp was about 100*-110*F. This Halogen heat lamp was about 85-90*F on high and about 75*F on low. I still like the halogen lamps."
"Halogen heat lamp"
I used this lamp this pass week when the temps were low keep my new born goat kids nice and warm. I like the guard on it very much.Even the doe liked being under it.
"Halogen Heat Lamp"
"Just received the Halogen Infrared Heat Lamp. The guard is really nice. It is about twice as strong as the standard lamp guards due to the horizontal bands. Hopefully my goats will not crush them as much as the others. The hi / low switch is nice. I ordered the 250 watt bulbs for it. My ""Kill a Watt"" meter reads 260 watts used on high and 150 watts used on low. I use the lights to keep the new born goats warm and use High setting at night and low during the day."
