    "Great to keep them busy"

We have two puppies with some separation anxiety. After chewing up the couch, we started looking at treat dispensing toys. They love this so much, we bought 3 more! It's difficult to get the treats out and it keeps them quite busy.

    "Much Better"

I had previously reviewed this item at a one star because the color had come off on my hands and I didn't feel safe giving it to my dog. Although I did not file a formal complaint, a representative from Jeffers Pet contacted me confirming that they had had an issue with the color that I had received and apologizing. They sent me two new flippers of a different color free of charge. The new flippers are much better. The rubber is fairly soft, but seems durable. I expect it to last a while with my soft chewer. I still feel like the hole in the neck is too big, all of the food that we put in there falls out quickly, but my dog still enjoys it.

    "Love this."

We have gotten several in blue and yellow. Because I wash everything before handing to the little ones I've not had an issue with the color rubbing off. I have a couple of chow hounds that will eat so fast they get sick. All dry food goes into treat dispensers. These are a soft rubber that I am surprised Tazi hasn't torn into bits. The first one is a year old and split down the seam. Now she is (making little progress on) tearing it into smaller pieces (supervised). These toys are surprisingly durable for the price. Because it is a softer rubber, they may not last as longer for a really aggressive chewer. I do highly recommend trying the Flipper and Snorky toys.

    "Questionable Material"

I recieved a yellow "Flipper" in an order with two other toys. They arrived within a timely manner. The Flipper came packaged in a thin, plastic bag. The yellow coloring from the toy had rubbed off and had colored the inside of the bag. It colored my hands yellow when I handled it. I washed it twice with hot water and soap and it still left yellow on my hands when I handled it. I don't feel comfortable giving it to my dog and will throw it away. Other than the color issue the rubber seems soft and durable. The fingers in the neck of the toy that are supposed to hold some of the kibble back so that it doesn't all fall out at once we set really far apart so the opening is very large. I would suspect all but the biggest kibble pieces would fall right out without much effort on the dog. If the opening size were reduced with more fingers and if the material type was provided and confirmed to be safe I would definitely purchase again for the price. As is now the product is useless to me.
