"Easy to use!"
Been using these things for years and love them! Never had an issue and has always caught tons of flys!!
Works GREAT!! Used them for 2-3 years now. Never caught a bat or other critter, catches lots of baby/adult flies, meat bees and wasps. I find them most effective when I set them directly on the poo piles to specifically to catch the baby flies, moving the traps around to fresh piles until they are literally covered black and toss. Has greatly reduce fly population and meals outside are a joy again. Neighborhood is 2 acre lots and the neighbors no longer complain about the flies!! Not the cheapest, but a non toxic and highly effective option. Couldn't be happier. Ordering another 20.
After suffering flies terribly at our new farm last year we decided to try some new methods and bought a lot of different products. I liked that this stick doesn't use insecticides and can be hung around the barn but was not impressed with the results. I was discouraged to find not so many flies and a lot of bees and other insects stuck in the glue. I unfortunately also caught a bat on this trap and decided to throw all the large sticky traps out. Bats can eat up to 4500 insects a night, so I think I just negated any gain I made by most likely killing the one bat ( I was able to extract it from the trap but it was ANGRY and had been hanging in the sun a few hours and probably did not make it). I had better luck with the large bag traps outside and will continue to use them as well as those silly fly tapes in the barn and garage (they are cheap and they work!)
