Equisential Performance Short Shank Bit, Smooth Snaffle

Equisential Performance Short Shank Bit with Smooth Snaffle applies more pressure on the horse's mouth and the bars making it a great all purpose bit which works well for most horses. The cheek size is 5" and mouthpiece size is 5 1/8".

Be sure to fit this bit with one wrinkle in the horse's mouth and a loose curb strap to allow for 2-3 fingers.

NOTE: This bit will rust as it is designed to create a sweet taste in the horses mouth and promote salivation.
