My mare has Cushing's. So she constantly has the creepy crud. But this time she got it real bad. A friend suggested this product and it worked so good I went and got the shampoo too.
"My Go-to Remedy"
This stuff works wonderfully on sweet-itch and sunburn. The affected area scabs and then the scabs fall off the next day to reveal freshly healed skin. It also works to soften and heal crusty, painful scabby areas. Hair grows back much faster when I use this stuff. Love it!
a product that works. However, I the directions did not include the process for scruff. A friend saw it on FB and shared it with me. ( Lotion on for 24 hours, then rinse off legs, repeat if needed) I had previously just rubbed the lotion on everyday and got no where but the rinse off method worked great!!
"Not effective what-so-ever on my horses"
I purchased this last summer when some of my horse were getting rain rot. We live in Southwest Florida, a very tropical climate. I tried this product (daily) for several different situations and used on different horses. I found it was completely ineffective. A very expensive bottle of lotion. Smells nice, so I guess it semi-deserves the 1 star that I had to give it, because 0 wasn't an option. The amount of relief that this product provided to my horses was 0 though.
works wonders on fungus and very good for dry skin issues.
This lotion helped to clear up some itchy spots on my horses chest and belly. It did not work on his tail.
"expensive but good"
Beat product I've used but if your horse has as many skin problems as ours you will go broke buying this product. If we use it liberally as directed we can't get a week out of 1 bottle. But it does a nice job and our horse loves it.
"Best to use"
Been using this since it came out. Best meds on the market for itch problems.
I have used this on various types of fungus, and the results are great - every time. Scabs fall off within and day or so, hair grows back quickly. Also very gentle, unlike other fungus products I've used. A must have during the winter.
"works just like it says!!"
My mare had rain rot on her neck pretty bad and because it was winter I could not bathe her. Then I found this Equiderma lotion. It claimed noticeable results within 24 hours or your money back and no bathing required! Sounded too good to be true, but I decided to try it. I applied it as the directions said and by the next day there were very few scabs( compared to gobs every time I brushed her before) and within a week or so it was virtually all gone! I was so pleased! Unfortunately about this time I discovered many new patches of rain rot all over my mare!:( Again Equiderma to the rescue! I have tried to apply it every other day as the directions instruct, however I havn't been perfectly faithful on that, but it is still going away and my mare only has a few small patches now! I am very pleased with how well this product works and the quick results! I HIGHLY recommend it!
"Great itch relief"
I not only had success treating bald, itchy patches on my horse, but this worked well on a hot spot on one of my dogs' legs. These products are natural and smell good, too.
This product worked when nothing else would. My mare had been suffering from a horrible fungus for weeks. Since she was in foal I could not use any of the oral meds that my vet could give her. My poor mare was rubbing herself raw all over her body. I washed her first with the Telesis shampoo and then applied the skin lotion. It was such a relief to not only see my mare stop itching but to see hair start sprouting back within a couple of days.
