"LOVE the roll on"
I used the spray on their bodies and flies literally fall right off. I use the roll on around their ears and jawline. It doesn't last as long as the spray for some reason, but does last a couple of days It attracts dust & dirt, so better for pasture life and trail rides than showing. Never without it April-November. If I forget spray at the barn, I run a line of roll on down their legs without worry.
"Endure endures. "
Jeffers price is way better than TSC. I love the chemical, not so crazy about the lip on the bottle for pouring. Definitely use a wide mouth funnel to fill your spray bottle. This is pricey but VERY effective. I spray every 3 days the first week, then every 10 days the rest of the season. It doesn't sweat off either! Costly to buy, but inexpensive to use. Flies literally fall off when sprayed. That is a beautiful thing. 8 horses/minis/donkeys. No adverse reactions. No hives, no refusal to stand for spray. Everybody is happy with Endure.
I have used them all, and I find that Endure is the best for me. Last longer, does what it says. Will stay with this product.
I like to use this product on the ears and ventral midline of the horse's belly. Does leave an oily residue so I don't recommend using it under the saddle pad. Works well for a few hours.
"Best fly spray on the market"
I have used this product for 8 years. It repels even ticks. When I was riding at Cuneo Creek Horse Camp in the Redwood Natioal park with friends the bees and wasps were especially bad. My three friends were all stung by bees, I was riding at the back and my horse was not stung. I swear by it. I won't use anything else.
"Does the Job"
This product is perfect for the horse and owner who does not want to breathe in pesticide. Works well on most insects, has a pleasant odor, and is easy on the horse's skin. This product is oily and will attract dust. Do not use under saddle blanket. I like to use this product around/in the ears and on the midline of the stomach.
"We have a lot of fly pressure due to wildlife at our farm and we've been having really wet summers for 3 years in a row. This is my second year using Endure and it's the best I have found for our area. I do follow directions and apply it more often that ""every 14 days"" but it seems to be the only thing that even begins to touch our pesky flies besides running for the shade in the barn. I do notice that the product is very effective against mosquitos and houseflies and less effective against deer flies and larger biting flies. We use this spray in the fall and spring because it does keep off ixodes ticks which carry lyme disease and anaplasmosis. We don't have any other horses or livestock nearby, so we have an unusual fly population, but this product does a good job. We haven't had any problems with allergic reactions or other problems with applying it and I do think the sunscreen in it works as our horses coats don't fade in the sun. "
"WORKS GREAT FOR ME"
I HAVE USED THIS PRODUCT FOR OVER A YEAR IN A BARN WITH BAD FLYIES, GNATS,AND SPIDERS. I EVEN SPRAY MYSELF AND MY CLOTHES. THE ONLY THING THAT WORKS IN THIS BARN. I NEVER SEE ANY MOSQUITOES. SO NICE TO NOT HAVE THE GNATS NOT IN MY HORSES FACE AND MINE.
"Endure Spray works!"
I have tried them all over the years but this product does what it says it will. It lasts! Best results if the horse is clean so that the product can bind to the hair. Most sprays last less than 12 hours where we are but this one hangs in there for about a week at first but longer as you continue it's use. I love the roll on --its well designed and will work for the remainder of the liquid. I have been using this for many years now and will continue to buy by the gallon so we never run out.
"Okay in my book!"
My horse is very sensitive to bug bites and I needed something that would not come off with sweat. Also, because she is a draft her tail is shorter than most other horses. I?ÇÖve been growing it out for the past 8 months since I don?ÇÖt driver her, and although it is getting longer she still can?ÇÖt fully use it to get to all those hard to reach places and swat off those pesky bugs. I help her out by using Endure. Endure was recommended to me by my vet because it is oil based and will not rinse off with water. I unfortunately can?ÇÖt make it out to the stables everyday so it really helps that it?ÇÖs last longer than 3 days. This makes it a great choice when turning out all day because it won't wear off as they perspire, roll in the dew-filled grass, or as a result of a passing shower. It also works great while under saddle, or just lunging in general. She isn?ÇÖt distracted by bugs constantly. Because it is oil based it does leave an oil residue.
