Easyboot Rx Boot for Horses
The Easyboot Rx is just the prescription for horses requiring a therapy boot that offers stability & support without being heavy or clunky. It provides support & relief for horses suffering from chronic lameness, laminitis, founder, navicular & other lower limb/hoof problems.
The Rx is an excellent choice for those horses that simply have difficulty standing on hard surfaces for extended periods of time. The boot can be used to speed recovery & offer protection after surgery or injury, lessen fatigue & add protection during trailering as well as offer a safeguard in the breeding shed.

"good for laminitis"
these go on super great, they do stretch after constant wear. my horse can walk sound with these on, i do wish that the velcro at top was different, after awhile he can step on them and pull his hoof through the top because they start stretching out. maybe have a strap that goes all the way around instead.
"Easy Boot RX"
Great boot for hoof issues that allows daily turn out for my mare. Without them she be lame and will use these until she is sound. This boot provides traction so the horse does not slide in wet conditions with rubber med boots. Pad does not last very long so I make custom pads from exercise mats from HW store. Easy to put on and take off and wash daily- not intended to be worn indefinitely. They will shoe fraying of internal lining and can wear or detach from sole after long use but I highly recommend these if yoi have acute or chronic hoof lameness. My mare walks normally and can even trot with these on.
"Easy Boot Rx"
Great alternative with sore feet. I have been using one for several years. Beats duck tape and baby diapers all day long! Will not hold up if the horse is walking on their toe.
I love these boots! I bought them for my gelding since he was diagnosed with navicular. He wears the boots during turnout (12 hours a day) and I've not had a single issue. He also wears them in the trailer for added comfort. I will be buying rear boots for him as well. My only suggestion would be to purchase the inserts at the same time. The ones that come with the boots don't last long.
I've bought 2 of these boots but only after ONE use (trailering my horse to a show) the seams at the backside of one boot ripped while taking it off. I expected more for the price.....
I love these easy boots for my senior horse. She started with laminitis issues years ago. When I starting putting these on her front feet, you could just see a sigh of relief in her face. I often remove the pads and wash them out by hand they look like new. The design is easy and simple to use. Highly recommend to anyone with sore feet problems with their horse.
Great product, great price. A little problem with the sizing chart being wrong online, resulted in the boots being too small but Jeffers went above and beyond to get the correct size to me right away. Excellent customer service!
"Best Therapy boots"
"I can't say enough good about these boots. I too, like Crissy, have a foundered Paso Fino. I do my own barefoot trims and rehab. Her first pair of boots lasted well over a year, and she had to wear them daily. The second pair hasn't lasted as long, but am ordering my third pair. The second pair went on a laminitic Paso. These horses would not have been able to live as ""natural"" a life as I can give them, without these boots. And I have tried other boots, with no success. Thanks EasyCare and Jeffers for having them at such a reasonable price."
"not for mouthy horse"
Bought this for my 4 year old Tb after he had an abscess. I needed it to heal, and for the hoof to grow out some to be able to put a new shoe back on. After only 2 weeks of normal nighttime turn out only he totally ruined the boot. First he started pulling at the velcro straps and it ripped under neath them, so I put a bellboot over it to stop any more damage. He was still able to get to it a little and I finally had to duct tape it under the velcro. Then he somehow ripped the lining away from the bottom on the front of the boot and it is no longer unusable. Now i still need to find something to help protect his hoof while it grows out. Having to wait 4 more weeks for more growth after already waiting 8 weeks. I want to ride!!
"Love these Boots!!!"
"These boots saved my horse. She had laminitis two years and has issues off n on with her hooves. This time it was a deep crack in the bottom of the hoof. We had another horse with similar crack last year that took 2 months to grow out and she was tender the entire time. Bella (horse) had been about 2 weeks into this crack when the boots arrived. One minute she was walking very timid and limping, and wouldn't leave the 6"" of bedding in her stall. Once the boots went on, she walked a few feet and then was heading out of her stall with a spring in her step and no limping. AMAZING! She's trotting and moving now like there's no crack!!! Highly recommend!!!"
"Best Therapy Boots Yet! "
I found the horses benefited best while wearing the RX boots recovering from issues, i.e, thrush, stone bruising, abscesses, etc. Seems to relieve pressure either in the stall or moving around in the paddocks and pastures. Boots are easily washed in a bucket of water, or hosed off. Dry thoroughly before using again! I have duplicate pairs on hand for each horse! So far, boots held up well with daily use! I use a thicker pad for the hoof recovering from an abscess. Also, I found the horse is more balanced wearing boots are both fronts versus one boot. Thank you for great therapy boots!

"I love these boots! My Paso Fino Mare ""Prima Vera"" Foundered about 3yrs ago. I do not believe in shoeing, my farrier Mary Cox recommended me trying these boots, and this one pair lasted me over 1.6 yrs..just now needing to order another pair, great for turnout! Easy to put on, she loves them! She runs around kicking up her heels...SHE'S BACK! Thank You for these wonderful Life Saving Boots!! "
Hi, Just received my Rx boots and used them overnight.(Feb 2011) I like the light weight, nice tread, and easy entry boot style. I think it is important to SIZE UP one size at least, even if you are not planning to add bandages. I found the boots initially a struggle to pull on over the hoof (sizing my horse according to his epics) which would not be good if you have a horse with leg or hoof soreness. The foot bed interior size is the same as the epics and the boot comes with a 6mm pad. 12 mm pads can be bought to take up extra interior space if needed and add extra comfort, so buy bigger. Wish I had. I would prefer to rate them after using them a few months.
