  1. 5.0 out of 5 stars

    "Great pad"

It is slim but does the job, and the black blends in seamlessly with the square pad for a sleek look. It improved the saddle fit and stays put....And at a really reasonable price.

"Perfect solution at a third the cost"

It's supposed to sit up into the gullet of the saddle. This pad sits perfectly and does not shift or twist. It is the perfect solution for a horse who needs a wider tree for his shoulders then his wither at a fraction the price of that currently trendy brand name half pad. Great solution for the typical TB with wide shoulders, an average back and high withers. They include a generous amount of front and rear shims in varying thicknesses, making the possible custom fit combinations endless. I hope they never discontinue this item.

  3. 3.0 out of 5 stars

    "Too curved."

This pad is shaped for a horse with extremely high withers. The pad is well made and might give shoulder relief to a knife-withered horse, but on a horse with normal withers, the pad slides up into the gullet of the saddle at the front.
