First conditionally licensed C. perfringens Type A vaccine for cattle.
Clostridium perfringens Type A is associated with several serious (and often fatal) gastrointestinal diseases in young beef calves and feedlot cattle: abomasal ulcers, enterotoxemia, and sudden death.
C. Perfringens Type A, implicated in hemorrhagic bowel syndrome in cows, is also deadly in calves and commonly isolated in cases where abomasal ulcers and hemorrhage are found.
Dosage: 2 mL SQ. Booster in 2-4 weeks. Revaccinate annually.
