"reconsidering them"
On my first review of these I wasn't very impressed but I just bought some solid wood 4x4's to use in them instead of what I originally used which was pvc pipe for poles. The directions say that either pvc or 4x4's can be used for poles but I would definitely go with solid wood 4x4's. I think they will make a good alternative to having to make cavaletti.

"Too flimsy"
The lesson I've learned from these things, and really all plastic jump accessories in general, is that it's better to go with solid wood. These things blow over in the wind, won't even stand on their own, and are going to get knocked over WAY too easily. In a pinch, I might use them but because of the cost, I'd come up with something better. Sending mine back.
