Canine Influenza H3N2 Vaccine
Canine Influenza H3N2 Vaccine is the first commercially licensed vaccine to help control disease associated with canine influenza virus H3N2 (CIV H3N2).
Directions: Vaccinate healthy dogs 8 weeks of age and older. Give 2 doses, 3 weeks apart. Annual re-vaccination with a single dose is recommended.
Important: CIV is highly contagious. Direct contact and droplets from sneezing or coughing spread CIV directly from dog to dog. Droplets also contaminate surfaces, food, bowls, etc. increasing the potential for further infections. Dog shows, dog parks, pet day care centers or any dog friendly environment can be particularly risky.
