"Space saving scratching alternative! "
My cats like to use it flat on the floor, but my old cat prefers the way I have one propped securely at an angle against a sofa. With some clear fishing line and a large needle, a person should be able to use one of these to protect a favorite furniture corner.

My cats really like this post. I bought three of them. My only complaint: on the website it said you could hang this over a doorknob - nothing provided to do so.
