"My Dogs Love these meat rolls"
I buy both the beef and turkey meat rolls for my three dogs. They compete in agility and I use them for training and rewards after running. My dogs "love" them. They don't crumble in my hands, pockets, or treat toys. I share them with my agility friends and highly recommend them.
"Happy Howies meat rolls"
I bought all the flavors of this meat roll and am very satisfied with them. I have only used the beef so far but they work very well for stuffing Kongs as treats when I go away. And for treats for the shelter dogs where I go every friday. I had tried the Blue Buffalo rolls but they are very mushy and cannot be removed well from the kongs. And I won't but Paul Newmans rolls anymore as they are full of grains and the dogs don't like them very well.
"Perfect training treats"
All three flavors of Happy Howie's are a big hit. I slice the entire roll, put them in the freezer and they are ready to grab and go for agility class. (I always have to take extra to share) Wonderful dry/dense texture that doesn't crumble in my pocket like other meat rolls on the market.
"This particular roll was very hard."
One of my dog's trainers recently recommended Happy Howie's meat rolls for training treats, and my puppy does really like them. However, after buying a lamb roll locally, as well as getting a few of each flavor here on Jeffers, it was very obvious that the 1lb beef roll was much, much harder than the rest. I don't know if it was older and dried up or what, but it actually hurt my hand when cutting it into pieces. Not sure I'd buy the beef online again. If it was local I could at least return it.
"Happy Howie's makes for Happy Dogs"
I have two doggies, a Jack Russell Terrier and a Schnauzer mix and they will do anything you want for Happy Howie Treats. I have never cooked the treats. The doggies don't give me time, they want them as soon as I open the package. They have been eating these for over a year and they never seem to tire of them. I recommend these and so does Binks and Luci.
