    "Must have Goat item. "

Jeffers is the best place to buy CDT, a must have for goats. Great product with no caking and I have never had any vaccine reactions with BAR-VAC.

Must-do vaccination against overeating disease (enterotoxemia) and tetanus. I've been using this product for over 20 years. ~ Suzanne Gasparotto, Onion Creek Ranch, Tx

    "Dairy goats "

An annual must. Never skimp on this vaccine for goats. Overeating disease is very quick. I vaccinate the adults annually, two weeks before kidding. And the kids when they are weaned, and then again after 21 days.

"Safe, easy to use, no reactions and economical."

I use this on my week olds, Moms and sires. Never a problem, never have had cocci... even up here in WA, where there is plenty of rain followed by warmth, prime breeding ground for cocci!

If you give subcutaneous injections incorrectly that produces lumps and I have seen lots of them by vets and goat caretakers. For kid goats the regimen is much more often - 2 weeks (at time of disbudding and/or castration), 4 weeks, 8 weeks, 12 weeks, 6 months, 9 months at 1 cc and then starting at 1 year of age and each year thereafter at 2 cc; also, pregnant does need an extra booster 4 weeks prior to kidding. I have used this product for 28 years of successful goat care and it has worked great. Hope this helps.

I will never use this brand again! My goats ended up having lumps. I didnt know what happened to them at first,as I was checking out one doe, she pulled away and it pulled a scab off, it left a hole in her skin. I had a few more does with lumps, but i treated all lumps with anitbiotic ointment. I will not use this one ever again.

    "Didn't work for me"

I had breakthrough entero when using this product. I boostered them twice a year, still had breakthroughs. If you are going to use this product, you should plan to vaccinate four times a year, and that may not work either.

    "Must have"

We have used this vaccine on our adult does and bucks yearly and on our new kids each year. It works in preventing overeating disease and tetanus in our herd. It is a must have in our medicine supplies.

    "Great Vaccine"

Highly recomend this vaccine. It is very economical to use even with larger herds. We use this CDT vaccine on all our goats once a year. There have never been any side effects.
