Since 1899, BAG BALM has been the farmer's friend, helping keep dairy cows from becoming chapped from the harsh Vermont environment. There's nothing like the original, and that's what you get when you buy this familiar green can. It has stood the test of time, and is still used on the farm today for chapped conditions and superficial abrasions. This protective ointment contains lanolin and helps to keep superficial tissue moist and soft.

"I use Bag Balm every winter"
I have lived where the water is chlorinated for the past 40+ years, and before I discovered Bag Balm my hands were literally bleeding every winter, when the chemicals seem to be multiplied. So for at least as long as I've had horses, 30 years or so, which took me into the right store to notice it, my hands have been AOK, I put it all over the backs of my knuckles when I'm still damp from my bath at night, sit and let it soak in ( I read for about 5 minutes) and in the morning my hands, even if they were a little chapped the day before, are smooth and feel great. Love Bag Balm!! Thank you!
"Wonderful stuff for all people and animals"
We use for our dog rescue for cuts and scrapes or very dry paws or crud at the end of dachshund ears as well as chapped hands or lips. I've been using this over 50 years and it works wonders for us, the donkeys and the horses. Must have for our first aid cabinet in the barn and house.
I've used this product for over 40 years, and still love it! Quantity is smaller for higher price now, like most things...but still worth it as a little goes a long way. I use it to protect hands and face from chapping in cold weather, prior to gardening to make cleanup a breeze and keep skin smooth, on upper and lower eyelids to limit wrinkling in my old age, on lips year round, and on minor cuts and abrasions to speed healing.
