The clippers are great. Except they do get hot a lot faster than advertised. I got the deal with the extra pair of clippers and I have to change out clippers while they cool off.
These are really good clippers, except for one thing. The Switches. We have had two sets of these and both the switches went bad after about a year. One we had repaired, but the repair only lasted weeks. If AGC would get rid of the small red locking button, the switches would undoubtedly last much longer. I'm buying different models now.
I have been a dyed in the wool Oster Clipmaster user for 15+ years. When a part went out in the middle of body clipping, I was desperate to get a replacement ASAP, so my poor mare wouldn't be left partially clipped! I almost went my with my tried and true Clipmasters, but thought I would ask a friend who works in a tack shop her recommendation. She said, without a doubt, the Andis 2-speeds with the T-84 blade. I thought she was crazy! Use those tiny little clippers to do a whole horse?! I read some online reviews and decided to take a chance, they are $100 cheaper than the Clipmasters, anyway. WOW! I about fainted when I started clipping! Those little clippers have to be on steroids! I think I got more done in a shorter amount of time, without the arm soreness of using the Clipmasters! I was going to order the replacement part for my Clipmaster, but after using the Andis 2-speeds, I think I'll try to sell them for whatever I can get for them, I'll never use them again! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
