Works great! Sprayed once on all my five dogs and fleas were gone! So happy that I tried it. It doesn't smell fresh, the smell is actually pretty strong and some what unpleasant, but it works :)
"Works but stings"
I have used this product for about twenty years, and most vets use it in their clinics because it does work so well. However, the alcohol base can be very painful on irritated skin; it makes my dogs mildly nauseated for brief time until the sting wears off. Also, it is too highly-fragranced.
This product DOES WORK and is much more affordable than other good products like Frontline. The only problem is the mist does float around and can get in to eyes and noses, and it does smell strong until it dries.
"spray works "
Over approx.15 yrs of multi dog ownership I have found this product (Adams) to be the most effective in flea & tick control knocks em down right now & Ive never had a problem with my lg breed dogs. Also kills wasps & spiders at once
This product is very strong. I did not have any rose spray on hand so I chose to spray my roses to kill the afids with this Adams product. Within two days every rose bush I had was dead. I decided not to use this product on my pets any longer but it makes a great spray for roaches and I continue to use it for that purpose. I just don't recomment it for my precious dogs.
this product works well but is in an alcohol base...it comes out in a fine mist and if any drifts around into the dog's face they quickly learn to dislike it....if its a problem try a waterbase or a thickened semi-spray like hartz
