If you’re on the fence I’d say get it. It’s worth it’s price point. The only difference between this and the Reinsman is the weight (this one is heavy) and it doesn’t have the kick out at the top of the purchase. Think L & W when it comes to the feel of this bit. The twist is a medium and the bars are curved for the horses comfort. I will say the roller is quite large (like the size of an olive) compared to something like an Elliot. The roller is the same size as the Circle R smooth snaffle you can pick up at tractor supply. Nice little bit for being made in China.
"A Barrel Racing Love!"
I love this bit! I've been through many different bits, looking for the best one for barrel racing that wouldn't be too hard on the horse's mouth. My eldest horse is also very finicky about the bits you put in her mouth, and she becomes upset and acts up if you stay in her mouth. Since I started using this bit, I've noticed a huge improvement in her performance, as well as the performance of other horses. The turns are much easier, and I don't feel like I'm giving my horse a hard time as I do with the other bits. Best of all, my finicky horse has no issue with the bit at all.
I absolutly love this bit!!.. I was using the wonder bit and it was not working very good on the turning.....I'd have to stay in her mouth to be able to control the turns.. And I'm a champion barrel racer......No control on the turns is NOT good!!.. The first time I rode her with the new bit my run improved 100%.. She listened and got on her but right away!..
