I couldn't be more pleased with the quality for the price on these halters. Far better than I expected. I bought 4 of these for primarily trailering and basic handling between stalls and paddocks but these are high enough quality to be used for daily use for sure, not just extras.
Can't beat the quality for the price. Hubby bought a very similar halter and paid 25. For it. I ordered the light blue and it does show dirt fast...that will clean off easy enough. I have a nice sized mule and it fits him great.
The halter is nice but the detachable lead was a disappointment. Just a line of nylon rope with no snaps. Will probably return it. Halter is fine.
"Jeffers' rope halter"
Much better than I expected for the price, and includes attached lead rope. Fits all my horses with or without their bridles on. I bought more after first few arrived.
Really nice halter, pretty and useful. Just as a note to big horse owners, doesn't fit my big Thoroughbred or Appy, both at 16.2. But otherwise awesome.
Wonderful halter. We call it Marley proof because my 2 yr old has broken every halter we have tried. She hasn't managed to break this one yet. Absolutely love it and I'm ordering each of our horses one.
I just received 2 of these halters with my order, they are much better quality than I was expecting for their price. They fit well, on my quarter horses and donkeys. If your horse has a larger than usual head the nose band part may be sung. I am very happy with them, and I am going to buy 2 more.
"Better than Kensington!"
"I purchased a tan nose rope halter from Jeffers, and shortly after got a ""great deal"" on a closeout Kensington rope halter shortly after. The Jeffers halter is softer, better quality, and sends signals much smoother than the stiff, scratchy, and low quality material used on the Kensington. For once in my life, I got far more than I paid for by going with the no-name-brand item!"
