Used many different ear remedies for my mastiffs ears and nothing seemed to clear them up until ZYMOX. After just 3 days use according to directions the black goo in her ears just seemed to vanish. My 14-year old beagle has had to fight recurrent yeast ear infections due to her allergies for her whole life, sometimes getting a secondary bacterial infection as well. This used to mean at least four trips per year to the vet, at a cost of $150 each time for an exam, ear culture (always yeast), and the $50 bottle of prescription ear medicine. To try to save money, I purchased Zymox and tried it the next time I saw the telltale swollen ears and odor, telling myself I would still go to the vet if I didn't see improvement. Well, within four days her ears looked much better, and after completing the 14 days recommended on the bottle, her ears were perfect and clean with no sign of infection. I am now able to keep any infections I see starting totally at bay. This product is once a day only, so it's easy to remember, and it is a nice clear gel that stays in the ear even when my dog shakes immediately! It is odor-free and non-staining, so even when she rubs her face all over the couch after getting the treatment, it's no problem. This product really works and has already saved me hundreds and hundreds of dollars. Now we only see the vet for routine shots and so on!
My Dog Hawk a Lab Shar Pei Mix Dog has Floppy Style Ears like a Labrador & he showed signs of an Ear Infection, he constantly would shake his head & scratch at his ears until you could see smears of blood on his head after shaken his head & after scratching. Hawk never liked anything we tried in his ears until I got this product it seemed to instantly sooth his ears & he just leaned his head as I massaged it gently in his ear. I was going to take him to the Vet but after reading reviews on this I decided I wanted to try it 1st & it Worked Great! We applied once a day for 14 days as directed & now How holds his head up normal & looks happier I would recommend to any Dog owner for a ear infection. The small bottle is big enough for a full treatment & I am buying more to keep on hand in case my Mini Dachshunds or Hawk needs any in the future due to having long floppy ears which tend to be prone to this kind of thing with this type of ear.
