I did a lot of research before taking my beagle puppy home. And ear infection is very common among the breed. I started looking for those to fight ear solution and Zymox has the most positive review. I think oh well, better safe than sorry. Oh boy I'm glas I was right. On second week with he he started developing dark brown wax and slightly heavy smell. I had to make do with cotton pad until my Zymox arrived. On the 2st application only, it's almost gone. But I kept using on 7 days in a row as instruction. No vet trip, no uncomfort for my puppy. Worth every penny. Highly recommend!
Used many different ear remedies for my mastiffs ears and nothing seemed to clear them up until ZYMOX. After just 3 days use according to directions the black goo in her ears just seemed to vanish. I am ordering more to keep on hand plus with their large ears and large ear canals 1 bottle doesn't go very far. Thank You ZYMOX!
My 14-year old beagle has had to fight recurrent yeast ear infections due to her allergies for her whole life, sometimes getting a secondary bacterial infection as well. This used to mean at least four trips per year to the vet, at a cost of $150 each time for an exam, ear culture (always yeast), and the $50 bottle of prescription ear medicine. To try to save money, I purchased Zymox and tried it the next time I saw the telltale swollen ears and odor, telling myself I would still go to the vet if I didn't see improvement. Well, within four days her ears looked much better, and after completing the 14 days recommended on the bottle, her ears were perfect and clean with no sign of infection. I am now able to keep any infections I see starting totally at bay. This product is once a day only, so it's easy to remember, and it is a nice clear gel that stays in the ear even when my dog shakes immediately! It is odor-free and non-staining, so even when she rubs her face all over the couch after getting the treatment, it's no problem. This product really works and has already saved me hundreds and hundreds of dollars. Now we only see the vet for routine shots and so on!
