I have the reinsman Tacky Too pad and this one is very similar in shape and size - it fits my long backed, high withered gelding well. When I pulled it out of the package I ran my hand along the underneath and it was extremely scratchy and almost prickly. I went over it with a grooming pumice stone and that really helped. It's a very very stiff pad. Stiffer than it should be. I've ridden in it 3 times and it hasn't shaped to my horse yet. The first ride I had dry spots but by the second it was broken in enough that the dry spots went away. Just like with my Tacky Too, I think after a couple weeks it will be great. Reinsman stuff always seems to take forever to break in though.
Looks and feels cheap. Wool fibers are rough and scratchy (been using a curry comb on it and an underpad when riding). Suede top is nice, but the "wear leathers" are suede as well, not leather. Very very stiff which causes it to stand up on my horses back leaving about 2.5" between the pad and his back. Hopefully with lots of rides it will break in.
