Vari Kennels are great! I've been using this brand of dogcrate for over 43yrs. I do use the Giant and Xtra Large size, which are no longer sold by Jeffers. But I have had great success using Vari Kennels for showing, field trials, traveling, and just using them for the dog's bed inside the house. I find the plastic to be tough, and resistant to chewing, and the quality still high. My dog breeds have been pit bulls (rescue/pets), American Staffordshire Terriers, German Shepherd, beagle and other breeds when I was showing dogs (not anymore). It used to be that Vari Kennels were THE kennel to buy if you wanted a sturdy, thick, plastic kennel that would last and protect your pet. I was shocked to find that these are now made with THIN plastic that couldn't even withstand being shipped to me. Both of the kennels I ordered arrived with cracked and split edges that make them good for nothing except a sleeping kennel that I won't be able to carry anything around in. I'm disgusted that these American made kennels are now being made so cheap. What ever happened to being proud of the product you make? I would give this zero stars if I could!
