Our quarter horse suffers from sweet itch and he will scratch his ears especially until they bleed. I have to keep a flymask on him with ears all summer long. These last for at least a month with his continued scratching. Others I have bought haven't made it through a day! So, I will continue to keep a supply of these. But I wish someone would come up with a mask that is light like this, but made of stronger materials.
I have horses that love to pull fly masks off, but the zelco on these is fantasticand holds tight. The horses can't pull off the masks and the pulling doesn't result in torn masks. I love that the mask comes down long in the front, longer than the picture shows. The horses can see really well thru these. I'm on my second year with the last ones I bought, and they still look and work great. Even have used these while riding, really won't buy any other masks.
