I got this pad wondering if it would fit under my Aussie. Its dimensions are listed as being quite a bit smaller than this pad is measured on other sites/catalogs (it's also called a "trail pad" here on Jeffers, other sites call is an "endurance pad" so it may be a slightly different product). It fits nicely, the billet straps and girth loop are too small for an Aussie, but it does not slip at all so no need to fasten it to my saddle :). I got this pad for short trail rides, something to carry a hoof pick, rope halter & lead, baggy of zip ties for quick fixes on the trail, maybe a snack or a camera. It does the job pretty well. My only complaint is the fasteners, if my horse gives a good shake, small items (like the hoof pick) can pop out.
It is a thin pad, so if you need extra cushion/padding under your saddle you need to use an extra pad with it. Overall it's a classy looking pad and looks good doing it's job.
