I love these beds, they are inexpensive and I used them to put in my dogs crates while traveling to agility trials, if they get messy I hose them of really well and throw them in the washing machine with no issues. The are thin and don't have alot of filling but that is part of what I like about them for crate liners.
I received this bed as a gift years ago, and have used it for Labradors, and now more recently, for my greyhound. It's, as other people have said, not for every day use unless placed on top of another bed, but it does have enough cushion to keep his elbows from rubbing on the hard ground. All my dogs have liked it and seek it out to lay on...it's also quite handy at how well it collapses and is machine washable.
The bed I received feels like it has no filling at all! I could not afford to ship it back or replace it, it ended up in the garbage because I could not get my dog to use it at all!!
