The sliding action of this bit supplies pressure to the corners and lips of the horses mouth. This action along with the position of the riders' hands, help elevate the horse from its quarters.
The 7/16" sweet iron snaffle mouth moves forward when the reins are pulled, giving the horse a signal and time to respond before tightening. 5" mouth and stainless steel cheeks.

| I love this bit. From working in the arena to barrel runs to rodeos, this bit works for everything! It lasts a long time and it doesn't rust! It works great for horses that are ready for a step up bit, too! I just don't have anything bad to say about this bit. And the price is low! |

| I have had this bit on my horse for over 10 years and haven't had to replace it yet! It was great on him during our barrel racing times and he still wears it on the trails. It's a great bit for a great price and really durable! |
