Calf Boluses - 123.8 grains (8.02 grams) Sulfamethazine (Formulated in a sustained release base) are intended for oral administration to ruminating replacement calves (calves over one (1) month old that are not on an all-milk diet). Sustain III Calf Boluses are indicated for the treatment of the following diseases when caused by one or more of the following pathogenic organisms sensitive to sulfamethazine: Bacterial Pneumonia (Pasteurella spp.), Colibacillosis (Bacterial Scours) (E. coli), and Calf Diphtheria (Fusobacterium necrophorum). Cattle Boluses - 32.1 gm Sulfamethazine Sustained Release bolus that provides a high sulfamethazine blood level for 3 days. Use in beef cattle and non-lactating dairy cattle to treat shipping fever, bacterial scours, foot rot, calf diphtheria, acute mastitis and metritis when the causative agent is sensitive to sulfamethazine. Do not use in female dairy cattle 20 months of age or older, calves under 1 months of age or calves receiving only milk. 12-day withdrawal. Cattle: 1 bolus per 200 lb. Calf: 1 bolus per 50 lb. Intended for calves over 1 month old that are not on an all-milk diet. |
