I use this product on my Chihuahua Sarah when she gets rather frequent diarreah; and it does give her relief. On a severe and/or prolonged episode I would recommend using it every 4-6 hrs: as being a natural product it is probably not a real strong formulation..... but we get good results from it! ( I am a nurse). Hopr this helps.
