This girth is a safety concern. I had bought one new and hadn't even used it a year when the elastic broke off strand by strand where it was sewn to the girth. The problem with this girth is that you cannot see the wear because the elastic is covered up. I went to go tighten it up and it felt really easy so I looked and that is what I found. Thank God I looked because I was about to get on a really green horse!! It wasn't just this girth because I had two and the other one had begun to do it as well. I highly recommend spending your money on something else!
