Some people have mentioned it breaking after two days. Mine came untied the first time I tried to use it. BUT, just re-tie it and you have a perfect hay net. I've been using mine every day for the entire winter and never had another issue. I'm buying more to have extra on hand.
Have found these very useful for my hay overeaters...slows their eating and slows the waste. I have found the main cinch cord breaks where it is joined together but you can just tie a knot and have been using them successfully everyday for 4 months and am planning on buying more.
I orginally got 2 slow feed hay nets from SmartPak, but they were $17 a piece. So, when I saw these at Jeffers for $7.50, I picked one up. Glad I only got one. Started using it on Wed. and it broke on Sunday. The others are still going strong and my horses really pull hard on them. Already ordered a replacement from SmartPak. Cheaper isn't always better. Don't waste your money with these.
