I bought this because I have 2 labs that drink water constantly. Esp during the hot summer. This waterer worked ok for a few weeks. It leaked where the hose connected all the time. Then one day I was reconnecting the hose to it and the float broke under the cover. When I removed the lid to see what the problem was, I saw that it was only a thin piece of plastic under there that the float was on. Very cheap! The bowl's great though. So now I just use that and have to refill it twice a day or more.

I have a small kennel and I use these waterers in my outside kennels. I have bought several. I love the stainless steel bowl. They last so much longer than the galvinized which rust out quickly. Great bang for the buck!
