It leaks where the hose connects to it. Also my float valve obviously doesnt work because it overflows and wont shutoff. I didnt like that I couldnt flip the top up to clean inside either.
I breed German Shepherds & Dog boarding kennel. I have been extremely happy with these bowls. But more over the customer support I received from the manufacturer was exceptional. These bowls are great for the 1 dog family to the Large Kennels, easy to clean, last a long time and do not rust and best of all the float is a better design than most of the automatic bowls out there. I also like the large size of them.
I bought this because I have 2 labs that drink water constantly. Esp during the hot summer. This waterer worked ok for a few weeks. It leaked where the hose connected all the time. Then one day I was reconnecting the hose to it and the float broke under the cover. When I removed the lid to see what the problem was, I saw that it was only a thin piece of plastic under there that the float was on. Very cheap! The bowl's great though. So now I just use that and have to refill it twice a day or more.
