they were bummed out, tried to rub it off, and can't help getting it in there noses, mine too! horrid smell! has isopropyl myristate as major ingredient, look that one up!
I'm still using this product on all three dogs and our cat after two years. It's still working, yes, it does smell quite strong of citronella for a day or two and it does leave oil on their coats where applied, but it is so worth it not having to use toxic chemicals! We have moved to a small farm and the dogs are running in the woods. Still no ticks or fleas!
I wanted to try this since it was all natural. The smell is very strong plus it leaves oil in your dogs fur. I tried it most of the summer and now I am fighting fleas. I have tried everything and can't get rid of them. Will not use again.
