We have a 8 YO female kitty that is very particular about her box and if it is not clean enough for her, she will immediately defecate on the litter mat or floor next to it and continue to do so until we fix the problem. We've tried probably 4 different styles of boxes & numerous types of litter mats in 8 years, and this one is by far the easiest & fastest to clean every day. We've had it for more than a month and she uses it regularly (even though the original is adjacent to the new one) and does not appear to have any issues with being "surrounded" by the feces smell due to the rolling design of the box. It works so well, I'm back to buy another two of them.
I like this litter box. Once I got the hang of rolling the box correctly, I found that it is very simple and easy to use. Thank you for posting the video. My younger cat (age 4) took to the new box immediately and likes it. I will keep the old box for a while though because my older cat (she's 17) doesn't seem to like it just yet. Hopefully, she'll take to it soon. This is a good litter box for the value. I also like that this is easy to clean without being electronic. I fear that some cats might be startled by the noise and sudden movement of a motorized box.
I have tried everything out there and this is by far, the best litterbox! I hated scooping; I had the LitterMaid which was a real mess; I bought the fancy wooden boxes to hide the litterbox (what a mess that was---the cats would not turn into the box so they urinated outside their litterbox. Ugh! I had to was the inside of the fancy, expensive wooden box); I tried all the others. Get the larger one and you won't be disappointed.
