I love the warmth of this coat for my dog Bear, but the chest needs to be about 2-4 inches bigger. I bought the Xlarge, it fits him for length and is just right for his peepee, but he has a very large chest and it is like a corset on him. Perhaps the manufacturer could allow for the bigger chested dogs with a little more space in this area.
This is NOT a coat for male dogs. You have to "tuck" the coat in order for them to not pee on it. However, since it is such a great coat, I just bought 2 and throw them in the laundry after each use if there is an "accident". He LOVES the coat! My little female doesn't like the noise that it makes, but it keeps her nice and snuggy warm while we are outside for long periods.
These coats looked great. Not so great in person. They are not suitable at all for boy dogs. My girl dog hated hers, too. Material is loud and crackly. Fit is awkward. I cannot recommend them.
