The price is cheap, but so is the quality. They aren't the loudest bells and they don't hold up very long. I've used a lot of different bells on sheep and the longest these Jeffers bells have ever lasted is maybe a year or so. The loop that attaches to the collar breaks and the bell is lost. Other bells that I've used, while costing twice as much, have lasted five times as long and are still going. Oh, one more thing, the loop is too narrow to fit a standard 1 inch dog collar, so the bell has to be tied or wired to the collar instead or you have to use a smaller collar. Again, doesn't help the loss issue. They're worth what they cost, but in the long term, the more expensive bells are a better value.
