Large enough for a big dog such as akita or chow.thick and nice looking, some of the stiches came out as my dog tried to fluff it, but easy to mend. Wish it had zipper cover but at the price and value, could buy another, most large dog beds are so much more expensive. Could use it as a pillow insert for other washable dog beds but then wouldn't see the fun cover.
