The same power, but less noise as the traditional hair dryers. Whisper quiet operation with or without use of the stand (included). Adjusts to 5 different positions on the stand for any size dog. 1875 watts of turbo power with four heat settings & three air speeds for versatile drying.
I never had any problems with the hairdryer, but after about 8 months, I had a problem with the stand. I called Anders, and they were very nice. I received my replacement even before I had a chance to mail the defective item, and the replacement was even an upgrade! I was very impressed to say the least. I think the other person with a problem must have a problem with their electrical outlet / circuit breaker.
Saw a problem first time I plugged it in. It knocked off the GFI.Used it about 3-5 times. Now only the low setting works. The stand also broke after the couple times I used it.They should have a recall on this item. Becuase of all the times it knocked off the GFI.Can you say cheap and fire hazard waiting to happen.
I recently adopted 2 Havanese. So to keep my expenses down, I decided to groom them myself. The first two times, I used my own hairdryer, which was cumbersome, to say the least. I decided on the QuietAire because it is Ionic/Ceramic, which is what I use on my own hair. The price is right, and drying them was a much better experience for us all, particularly because I had two hands free. I was worried at first that it might be a little too flimsy, but it worked well. The ionic/ceramic helps to keep the hair shiny too. I wish it had a little bit more drying power to do the job, but for the price, I am VERY satisfied!
