I did not explain very well in my last comment "I Like it But. . ."
This is a very sturdy Kong and best of all it squeaks too. My Labrador, Heidi loved it the first 2 days of playtime. She is not a major chewer, but she can chew none durable toys up pretty well. The rubber was way to tough, she didn't want to clamp down on the toy (She really never doses that, so I buy softer squeaker toys. Thought I have to supervise her. So that's why I bought this, thinking I wouldn't need to supervise her.) to make it squeak. So my brother slipped the squeaker out without harming it or the Kong.
So now I stuff it with dry dog food, soft dog food and top it off with water, then I place it into the frig to freeze for a day. When I remove it from the frig I have a yummy (Only to dogs) treat.
I can place the squeaker back in whenever I want, but meanwhile I can also stuff it.
I WOULD BUY AGAIN AND AGAIN!
Thought through my trouble, I decided it was really a 5 star.
At first Heidi loved this toy, but after 2 days the Squeaker sound did not make her excited. Also she couldn't even squeak it, so I had to. I'm not saying its a bad toy, just that it wasn't for my dog.
I took the Squeaker out and stuffed it. I loved and so did she!
Although my dog LOVES squeaky toys, it's been a challenge finding one he doesn't eat in a matter of minutes. So far the Kong Squeaker is the only one he hasn't destroyed. Because it's hard Kong rubber and not a typical squeaker, he gets the thrill of making it squeak without tearing it to bits. He will happily sit in his crate and squeak it for hours. A GREAT toy, would definitely buy it again and again!
