"Great 4 African Greys!"
My picky eater transitioned from colored pellets to the all natural and now does not waste her food throwing out a color she does not want! I do put a teaspoon of water with the pellets so she does not have to drop them in her water dish! Great product!
"Excellent for Eclectus"
I use this Zupreem food for Waldo, my red-sided Eclectus. I like it because it has no coloring which is necessary for an Eclectus. He took to it right away and he has excellent feather condition on it. I highly recommend it!
"Great for transitioning!"
Zupreem is a good brand food to feed your birds. What I really want to talk about is how great it is for transitioning a bird from an all seed diet (which is not good for them) to a pelleted diet. I have used this to transition 2 seed only eating cockatiels to pellets with great ease. It only took a couple of days of mixing it with seed, and I believe the reason is that it is just about the same size as seed that they would eat, and it is all one color/flavor - which eliminates the option of having them pick out only what they want. I am sure this would work for smaller birds as well because of the round shape. I am not sure about larger parrots, but if someone tries, please post and let me know.
