"They loved it"
I put this on my cats and dogs food. They seem to love it, and it's affordable. Great for their skin!
"Not what I was expecting "
This product did nothing for my dogs. I used it for 3 months and saw no improvement with their coats. Very disappointed after reading all the high reviews.
"Affordable, healthy appetite stimulant"
I have a very finicky eater, and was getting concerned about him skipping meals. This is affordable, good for him, and makes him want to eat. What more could I ask for?
"Customer for life!"
My dog was having issues with dry skin and itching so, after reading the reviews I decided to give it a try. It works GREAT! No more itching, VERY shiny coat, and VERY LITTLE shedding! I LOVE IT and so does my dog! I highly recommend it for your dog!
My dog, Rusty, loves this stuff so much he will take it right off of a spoon! He loves it on his Merrick Classic Real Lamb with Brown Rice & Apple Dry Dog Food! Actually he has very little interest in his food without the oil! I wish Jeffers sold this by the gallon cuz I don't want to run out! Rusty has only been on this oil for a couple of days so, I haven't noticed a difference in his coat just yet, but I'm sure I will! This stuff is awesome, Rusty loves it, and the best part is, it's GOOD for him!
In a conversation with a friend one day, I was telling him how one of my girlfriend's dogs was on a fish oil pill for his coat. I stated that she had taken him to the vet and he had been dipped into the awful egg-smelling dip and needed fish oil for his skin and coat. My friend told me about this Yummy Chummies product. He told me about his personal experience and the reviews with this product. I am a skeptical person, but I took a chance on it. I figured that I couldn't lose a lot since the product was at a reasonable price. It worked wonders for this dog. He loves this stuff on his food and the other dog jumps around wanting some because she thinks it is a treat. She eats her food now. I was so amazed at the results of the dogs liking it, I decided to buy another small bottle to see if my mom's dog would like it. He is an outside dog and had just been scratching himself raw. He had bald spots and was just miserable. I gave it to my mom and told her how to use it. When I went to her house that weekend, I could not believe how great her dog looked. He was very active and had very few bald spots. She said he loved it and that she had to give some to the other dog as well and he loves it too. I should mention that these four dogs are different breeds. Two are daschunds and the other two are lab and lab and bulldog mixed. I just bought the bigger bottle for the bigger boys. This product really does work.
"I was a tad suspicious when I read some of the reviews....I am a true believer now! this product has given amazing results for my 8 year old Long haired German Shep. He was absolutley miserable with skin allergies, causing itching, dry skin, odor, chewing on his legs/feet, etc. I was very weary about buying this product, but I read the reviews and talked to my vet and then thought ""what do I have to loose?"" so I started feeding my dog with this additive on his food. I am not kidding, mearly weeks later, he is happy again, his fur is growing back from where he chewed it off, his skin, his hair is soft. Even his ears, which had become very dry (and a source for scratching) have returned to supple/soft - not dry. He is playful again and I love this product! He loves his food even more too! I guess the taste is appealing to him... I have ordered a second bottle and will keep my huge 100 lb dog on this product as long as he feels better, like he does now. THANK YOU!! my dog thanks you!"
"Soft, glossy fur"
I feed my two GSDs a dry kibble that they would not eat unless I added something to it, like cooked chicken giblets. Well, anyone who has ever cooked them knows they stink, so hubby looked for something else to put in the kibble. Got a case of this salmon oil online. My dogs absolutely LOVED it from the very first. I feed them 1 1/2 cups kibble each in the morning and at night. Three squirts from the pump bottle in the bowl...I mix up with their food and then divide between them. My black GSD always had soft, shiny fur, but it's gotten even prettier. My black/tan's fur was coarse and not as shiny as her sister's, but after a month of this salmon oil, even her fur is softer and glossier. I don't know if the oil has improved their happiness because they've always been active, happy girls anyway, but I do love what it's done for their coats.
"A Must Have For Breeders"
I was able to get this amazing product on sale, buy 1 get one free, and I ordered 6. My family breeds, and raises Pomeranians. Everyday I add this to their food, they didn't like it at first, but now they won't eat it without it. Salmon oil really brings out their coats, eyes, and even helps their pups. This is a MUST have for all breeders, and owners looking to provide the best care for their pets. One other plus is that it NEVER really runs out even with multiple dogs, one container lasts, and lasts!
A few years ago, I was adopted by a beagle that had been running around the neighborhood. He was cute enough but obviously not well kept. He smelled something awful and was surrounded by flying nuisance insects. His hair coat was dry and he had a strip down his back that was nearly bald. His skin was dry and scaly/flaky. He seemed generally miserable but fairly amiable and I tolerated him at first. After about a week of him waiting on me when I got home and no one looking for him, I decided to bite the bullet and buy the things he needed... food, shampoo, and something for his coat was a bare minimum. - I bought a very large bag of dry food and a 16 oz bottle of what was then called Omega Maintenance Wild Alaska Salmon Oil. I added about a spoonful or so to his food once in the morning and once in the evening and not only did he obviously enjoy the food better but in less than a week I could tell a huge difference in his coat and skin. It was well worth the money and we were both happier for it.
"Great Product, My Bully Loved It!"
My Bull Terrier has really bad allergies and patches of red skin where he's bitten all his fur off, mainly on his back legs and tail. I purchased this hoping it would help improve his coat. While it hasn't been a cure all in itself (we needed to switch his food to a different brand also and it's going to take time to get all his fur back) it has definitely helped make his coat soft and glossy and has slowed his itching. He LOVES the taste of it. Now he just looks at his kibble with a wishful look until I mix it in! He got smart about picking out the kibbles with the oil on them, so we mix up the oil and kibble with a spoon so it gets on all of them. Great product, no nasty fishy smell. It actually smells like a fresh salmon fillet like you would get at the grocery store. All in all a great product and worth the money!
"Yummy Chummies Salmon oil"
A few years ago my vet recommended that I start using some type fish or Salmon oil for dry skin on a couple of my small dogs. I did quite a bit of research and found the Yummy Chummies Wild Alaska Salmon Oil at Jeffers Pet Supply. I've been buying wormers for my horses there for many years, as well as other products for my dogs, and cats so knew the product should be a good one and just what I needed. The price was good, especially compared to many other products on the market, including eBay and Amazon. Jeffers Pet as always was quick to deliver and I started using the oil in my 5 Poms food on a daily basis. They all like it, enjoy their dinners more than they used to and it seems to help there skin. I've been using it pretty regular for about 2 years now. I recommend this product for dog owners, it's good for your dog inside and out!
