Training bit that works off a horse's nose by using the rose buds on the rope to contact the nerves. Teaches a horse to head-set, flex, turn over his hocks and stop without hurting the bars of his mouth. As you pick up on the reins, light pressure goes to the mouthpiece keeping your horse "light in the mouth". Great for tuning up a mature horse.
Will keep your horse light in the mouth. Made of nylon rope nosepiece with stainless rings on the ends. Begin training with reins snapped to the rope rings. After initial training, move reigns to snaffle rings as usual.
5" mouth and 3" rings.
- Brand: Reinsman

This bit does what it says! My high headed Arab who was pushing at the bit and throwing her head keeps it down and is much more responsive. NOTE you must use very light hands with this as it is very effective. You can use bungy cords attached to the nose piece and your cinch to teach your horse to position its own head and stay light and collected!
