"Essential on-hand medication"
We buy market calves and bottle calves, and Sustain III has proven itself to us. I highly recommend it for scours and shipping stress/ill. It completely turned around a beautiful little Angus bottle baby that had been orphaned and shipped to market. He grew to be a robust bull calf thanks to the swift efficacy of Sustain III, and the dosing schedule was much more convenient for me than other brands of the same medication.
"Great pill for calves with scours!"
I use these pills on my winter calves who seem to get the scours and then pass it on to other calves, they are like a miracle and really do work within hours! I stock up and keep a couple of jars in my tack box at all times. I highly recommend this product and it was recommended to me by my vet after I had stool samples done a few years ago.
"Must have for calves"
I raise mostly calves that I have purchased from the market. A lot of them pick up various sickness, or are sold because they are sick. I have tried several vaccines for scours and pneumonia with small success, however these boluses have turned calves around in as little as hours. Scours have turned around in a day. I treated a steer with foot rot with it. I keep some on hand.
