"Both my kitties love this!"
I have two short haired boys and my yellow kitty sheds like crazy so I used my sleekez on him first and he loved it! I got lots of hair off and my other boy who hardly ever sheds wanted me to comb him so I had both kitties on my lap at the same time! That rarely happens and they both loved to be combed with the sleekez! Thanks so much for a product that works great and one that makes my boys happy! Now we get more snuggle time!
"Good for cats - if they are outside"
I tried the small one on my cats, they did not mind it but there was cat hair flying all over the house. It works really well - if your cats go outside. Mine do not.
"Good product wrong size ordered."
I ordered two of these the small and large. I thought I could use the small one on the cats, but they are indoor cats and unless I want a house full of flying fur that will not be possible, but it does work on my dogs in small areas. I ordered the large size for my 55 pound Labradors, it must be meant for a Clydesdale as it is too big to really use on them. Should have got a medium. So the SleekEZ works well, I have to do the best I can with the two I have. It does really well on cars furniture and carpet too!
"We Love It"
I've had every type of cat brush ever made and just got this one (the small) on a whim. It came yesterday and gets 20 gold stars! The cats (even those that don't like being brushed) purred when I brushed them. I got enough hair out to stuff several large teddy bears. AND it got the hair off my furniture quickly and easily. Very, very highly recommended!!!
I bought the 5" size and tried it on my very fuzzy mini. No halter needed, he just stood there and loved it. I got lots of hair off very easily, all over him. This is the best shedding blade I have ever used in over 45 years of horse grooming!!! I have the 2" blade on back order to use on my dogs. Can't wait to try that one too.
"Nifty Little Tool!"
"I'm Little Miss Skeptical and after 25+ years of horse ownership, I feel confident bragging that I own every horse grooming tool ever invented. Been there, done that, tried them all. Honestly, I really just bought this because I couldn't stand to know it was something I didn't already own. My expectations were not that high, thinking it was just another shedding blade... boy was I wrong! Very pleased to discover that it is something truly NEW that WORKS! The teeth are cleverly grooved to just the right measurements to grab all those annoying little cat hairs/elephant hairs/guard hairs/whatever you want to call them hairs that stick out of our otherwise sleek horse's coats. The horse looks brilliantly groomed with minimal effort after using the SleekEZ. Definitely my new favorite tool! Now, my nitpicky part of the review is that I wish the handle wasn't wood. Yes, it's aesthetically pleasing and does feel very nice in the hand, however, I like to wash the tool in between horses and the wood inevitably absorbs water. A plastic handle, although cheaper looking (which I assume is not what the company is going for), would actually be my preference. A word on size: I got the 5"" and am very glad I did. It's perfect for the anatomy of the averaged size horse. The 2.5"" would seem too small to be efficient in my opinion and likewise it would seem the 10"" would be unwieldy on anything smaller than a draft horse. In conclusion: definitely worth the price, and made in the USA for bonus points! Make a plastic handle version, guys, and I'll be back to buy a second one."
"Very cool product!"
I LOVE this product! It works exactly like it says. I use one on my dogs, cat and all my horses. They are really enjoy it as well. I was skeptical at first thinking it would cut the hair because it looks like a hacksaw blade, but actually upon close view, you can see that the blade is unique. It isn't like any blade my husband has ever recognized.
