"Nifty Little Tool!"
"I'm Little Miss Skeptical and after 25+ years of horse ownership, I feel confident bragging that I own every horse grooming tool ever invented. Been there, done that, tried them all. Honestly, I really just bought this because I couldn't stand to know it was something I didn't already own. My expectations were not that high, thinking it was just another shedding blade... boy was I wrong! Very pleased to discover that it is something truly NEW that WORKS! The teeth are cleverly grooved to just the right measurements to grab all those annoying little cat hairs/elephant hairs/guard hairs/whatever you want to call them hairs that stick out of our otherwise sleek horse's coats. The horse looks brilliantly groomed with minimal effort after using the SleekEZ. Definitely my new favorite tool! Now, my nitpicky part of the review is that I wish the handle wasn't wood. Yes, it's aesthetically pleasing and does feel very nice in the hand, however, I like to wash the tool in between horses and the wood inevitably absorbs water. A plastic handle, although cheaper looking (which I assume is not what the company is going for), would actually be my preference. A word on size: I got the 5"" and am very glad I did. It's perfect for the anatomy of the averaged size horse. The 2.5"" would seem too small to be efficient in my opinion and likewise it would seem the 10"" would be unwieldy on anything smaller than a draft horse. In conclusion: definitely worth the price, and made in the USA for bonus points! Make a plastic handle version, guys, and I'll be back to buy a second one."
"Very cool product!"
I LOVE this product! It works exactly like it says. I use one on my dogs, cat and all my horses. They are really enjoy it as well. I was skeptical at first thinking it would cut the hair because it looks like a hacksaw blade, but actually upon close view, you can see that the blade is unique. It isn't like any blade my husband has ever recognized.
