"Okay for the price"
I have bought several of these to use on the leashes and collars of my dogs. When they work, they work well. However, they are not sturdy or at all durable. The wires are flimsy and it is impossible to replace the battery without breaking the wire connection and thereby breaking the light. And it's cheaper to buy a new pack than a battery anyway. I have received some packets that have not worked, but JeffersPet.com replaced them. Until I find something more durable, and equally inexpensive, I will continue to use
"Best In Class, Not Perfect"
I take my dogs to an urban forest as often as possible. I have tried numerous gadgets to increase their visibility, and this is the best I have found, yet is imperfect. The flashing light is wonderful when it works, though one on both side of the dog is required to be visible most of the time. The downside, I bought 3 packs, for a total of 6 units. Two fell off quickly, and one stopped working. I was not sure how to apply to the collar, there is a lot of velcro wrapped around the small light. My guess now is to not touch the velcro and slide it as is over the collar. The light itself is attached by two very thin wires to an apparently non replaceable battery. It can take time to turn on and off. I have tried the hanging flashlights and many other things, this is the best yet. I will buy extras.
