    "Love/hate"

I love the premise of this mask. Easy to put on and it stays on my mare. Love the bug eyes, mask doesn't rub against her eyes. Hate that the mesh has such large holes. Our insects in my area of GA are horrible. The holes are large enough for gnats to get through and fro our biting flies to bite through. The lycra tears easily, which I expected. I bought 3 of these masks and I will use them, but will have to try and find some small mesh to put in the ears at least.

    "Awesome Product!"

Love this fly mask! Was worried about size of netting but have had no issues so far! Material is nice and cool and fits my Quarter horse, THE cross perfectly only catch is he rubbing his head in the barn and slides it off causing it to stretch out if he doesn't have his halter on. Under his halter though have had no issues!

    "Great for under bridle"

I have been looking for a fly mask that would not be too bulky to wear under my horses bridle when we go out trail riding. This bug mask is perfect, not too heavy, ears are covered, large mesh holes around the eyes not to block vision. My horse is so much happier for being covered, eliminates the need for putting fly spray on their face. For such a great price! Wish they were not sold out of the horse size as I wish I had ordered more.

    "Best ever"

These masks are the absolute best for horses with big eyes. Big eyes are one of the criteria I have for selecting a horse so all of mine have large eyes. These are at the only masks I've ever bought which don't EVER touch their sensitive eyes. They are very economically priced too. The only reason for only 4 stars is that I wish they came in miniature horse size. Ordering more right now.

    "DO NOT ORDER"

This is the worst fly mask I have ever ordered! The netting is too wide and allows tiny gnats through! I had them on my horses for almost an hour and they were itching and scratching because of the bugs eating their ears and getting in their eyes and therefore ripped them to shreds! I am very unhappy with the results as I had Absorbine masks on my guys and they wore them for weeks and weeks until I took them off! I have had the Absorbine masks for 3 years using them every summer all summer long and needed replacement! Decided to try these and I am very unhappy! Pretty much a waste of money! DO NOT ORDER!

    "Best Fly Mask So Far"

A bit difficult to put on, but just takes learning how. Bought one to try; am now going to buy several. I believe the mare likes the way it feels on her. I love the fit, and it's very soft and gentle against her face around the edges. Highly recommend it!

    "Ripped"

When I got my mask in I took it out the bag and fell in love with it! I loved the material and the bug eyes. BUT...I started looking at it more and it was ripped and what looked like it started ripping from the seams. So I went to the store and bought another one that was $20 instead of $10 and this one holds up a lot better plus its seems easier to put on and my horse LOVES it. In the end I plan on returning this one that I bought and staying with the other one.

    "Best Mask Ever Owned"

This is the absolute best mask I have ever owned and I have bought everything on the market. My quarter horse is huge and this fits him perfectly. It stays on, he has not rubbed it off because I think it feels good on. Gnats get in his eyesw and they swell shut so he has to have a mask on almost all the time. Always during the day and sometimes I just leave it on over night. I bought 2 and now I am ordering 2 more just to have extras. Its easier to rotate them for washing. There is no way this mask could ever cause a wear mark. I highly reccomend this product to all horse owners.

    "Scared my horse"

I bought a large for my quarter horse, who's head is not huge. This mask cut into my horses face and left white scares on his beautiful face. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this product.

    "the best fly mask"

"I bought a Cashel Crusader for $20.00+ to use with a horse with eye problems. It stretched until it would have fit an elephant. The horse had it scraped off in minutes. This one fits perfectly, has stayed on and appears not to bother him at all. It cost half what the Cashel did, and washes and dries in a few minutes. The ""bug eyes"" don't dimple and poke him in the eyes the way the other one did. A finer mesh might be good, and more colors would be appreciated. In the meantime, though, I think this is a great product, and have bought two more."

    "bug eye fly mask"

My rating has gone up on this item, because even though this fly mask has been worn 24/7, there has been NO rubbing. Other masks I have use on my horses had to be carefully monitored, because they would rub sores into the horse. This mask, has caused no wear marks or sores what-so-ever. I am stocking up. Thank you for coming up with this new form of mask.

    "bug eye fly mask"

While it is true a horse can get the mask off and that the material slowly stretches out, it does not have Velcro! My pony is a rescue and the sound of Velcro absolutely terrifies him (he was terribly abused). So I searched for a fly mask without Velcro and found only this one: bug eye. Once he had the mask one once (and found relief from flies in the eyes), he very willingly allows the mask to be put on. It works very well: he had inflamed eyes from both pollen and flies which medication only marginally helped, but the mask has allowed the eyes to heal. It would be nice to have other colors available (black is hot in the florida sun) and for the material to hold its shape a little better. But compared to other brands of fly masks which I have used, it holds up just as good, if not better. The horses have ripped up and removed the other brands of fly mask fairly frequently. Dollar for dollar, this mask is a great deal and gets four hooves up from Charcoal.

    "Stretch mask"

These look good, work well, and are easy to put on. However, horses can easily remove them. All it takes is one good rub. There are loops which you can use with a halter but the loops will break.

"Appaloosa approved by Dixie and Red"

These masks are like sexy undies for their heads with the soft and shiny black satin like material and fishnet like mesh. I was concerned the net weave was not fine enough to keep the gnats out, but so far no issues. We have HORRIBLE gnats and biting flies here in the deep south. My 2 senior Appaloosas would pace the fence to get back in within minutes of being put out in the pasture. Now they can enjoy the outdoors again! The masks are very soft and easy to put on their heads. I also like the wide eye holes. The material does not dimple into their eyes like other more expensive masks I have used( cough.. cough.. Bug Eye Mask )Dixie and Red give them 2 hooves up. I will be ordering extras, you can't beat the price. My only suggestion for the manufacturer would be to make them in a lighter color. I think black may be too HOT in the summer sun. Dixie suggests PINK and Red suggests GREY.

    "Great mask"

Wrote a review earlier, still loving the mask but after using it just wanted to comment, (hope feedback gets back to the company) The mesh on the ears needs to be finer, Flies/gnats can still chew ears that are up against the material.
