Rounding every 2-3 weeks lengthens trimming intervals requiring a professional trim every 7-8 weeks, rather than every 5-6 weeks.
Easy to use with one hand, allowing the user to stand beside the horse without bearing the horse's weight. Also protects the user's hand from the sharp teeth of the rasp.
Ergonomic design fits all hands.

"Hard to use"
I found this a lot harder to use than a regular rasp. Had to put a lot of work into it to get any progress. I was disappointed in how hard it was to use for the cost.
"Totally dull "
Waste of money. The teeth are too small and do not bite into the hoof no matter how hard you push or pull. I tried with all my might. Had my he-man try it, had my ferrier try it- it just does not work. Buy a mini rasp and save yourself $30. Replacement blades $29.95 are you kidding me?? Good idea, bad design.
"Great for Hoof Maintenance!"
I love this rasp! It is great for rasping back long toes between farrier visits or smoothing out cracks and chips as well! Worth every penny!
When I bought it I thought it would be so cool. But it doesn't really work like I thought it would. Hard to get enough force and leverage on it with just one hand.
"Not worth it"
It's not worth the money. The rasp is dull and hardly does a thing. It will take you an hour and a sore back to make any kind of difference with this rasp, and the awkward 90 degree design just makes it more difficult to use. I can't think of any situation where I would actually find this thing useful.
"A lot of hype, but not completely happy"
I was really excited by this product when I first saw it. We call my horse Old Rotten-Footed Rex for a reason, you know? It might be okay to use in a pinch or just straight maintenance if you want to round your horse's toes every other day, but you can't really get leverage with it so if something is really chipped then you need more. I still find myself going to my actual rasp and not this product. It was great in theory, but just not really getting the job done.
I was not happy with this rasp. It is hard to use and doesn't seem to work as well as they clam. I would not recommend this to any one
