"Don't stay on"
I've used these (what I thought were the same ones) in years' past and they stayed on fine. This year I used two for my two rams and they both just came right off at the buckle. I kept finding them out in the pasture and trying again. No matter what I hoops I jumped through to make them stay on they were still off almost immediately. The one that stayed on for more than a day broke at the crayon holder. Probably because it was too loose after a few minutes. I'm not a beginner with these. They're not acceptable.
This harness is cheap. It is not like ones I have ordered in the past. Notice the metal slides for the nylon to go through, It's difficult to get a good fit. Look for the harnesses that have the plastic slides and the quick clip buckles. So much nicer to work with.
"Could be better"
Eeeeh...it works and is better than painting briskets, but it is not the product I had before. It's the buckles; they are hard to adjust when you are trying restrain and fit it on the animal. Years ago I had harnesses that had strong plastic clip buckles, like the kinds on back packs. Much faster & easier to work with. Also, an arrow in the crayon holder to let you know which way is forward would be helpful. I think this product could be improved, I will look for a different harness this summer. I would suggest you do too, before you consider this product.
